Some of our most meaningful cancer research donations have come from places we never would have expected - from the nursing student who solicited donations in exchange for votes as to whether or not she should shave her head, to the entire school community who sold bracelets in honor of their recently diagnosed principal.
Below are just a few of the creative giving ideas we’ve seen. If you have one of your own, tell us about it!
Planning an event for family, friends, or colleagues? Make it even more meaningful by incorporating a charitable giving element: have a great time and advance cancer research!
Looking for an excuse to have a jeans day or other fun workplace reward? Stage a charitable challenge!
We’ve been fortunate to be the beneficiary of a few generous authors. If your upcoming publication is cancer-related, consider using it as a means to fund cancer research!
On their wedding day, many couples choose to honor or memorialize a loved one or celebrate all cancer survivors and caregivers through a donation to the Conquer Cancer Foundation.
There are many ways to do so:
- We would be happy to provide simple, personalized place cards for your guests announcing your donation. For details, please contact Foundation staff at 571-483-1700 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
- If you would like your guests to make donations in lieu of gifts, we would be happy to assist you by providing small cards or language to include in your invitation, and will provide you with a list of all donations made in your honor.
- If you plan on printing your own cards or favors, we would be happy to assist you in any way we can. If you have any questions, please Contact Us!
