Mark Bernard is the recipient of a 2011 MSR award. Blase Polite is Chair of the Health Disparities Advisory Group and has also served on the review committee for the MSR and RTA.
Dr. Geoffrey Oxnard, a medical oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, is highlighted in the Conquer Cancer Foundation’s latest Researcher Spotlight video. Dr. Oxnard is the recipient of a Conquer Cancer Foundation 2010 Young Investigator Award and a 2012 Career Development Award, and has used the support he received from the Foundation to research better ways of treating and understanding lung cancer, particularly in non-smokers.
Conquer Cancer Foundation funds research focused on finding new therapeutics to conquer cancer, but we are also committed to funding research that other organizations may not, such as palliative care, rare cancers, pediatric cancer, and high-risk research. Ann Partridge, MD, MPH, a medical oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, is the recipient of three Conquer Cancer Foundation grants including a 2001 YIA, 2003 CDA, and a 2010 ICCG. She has used the support she received from the Foundation to work towards improving care and outcomes for young women with breast cancer.
