A world free from the fear of cancer.

The Conquer Cancer Foundation (CCF) was founded by the foremost cancer doctors of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) to seek dramatic advances in the prevention, treatment and cures of all types of cancer. CCF works to conquer this disease by funding breakthrough cancer research and sharing cutting-edge knowledge with patients and physicians worldwide, by improving quality of and access to care, and  by enhancing quality of life for all who are touched by cancer.

We approach our mission statement with scientific rigor, with empathy, and with a powerful sense of urgency born of experience.

We’re supporting groundbreaking work wherever we can make a difference - wherever physicians and researchers exchange ideas, and whenever patients and families need answers. We’re working in communities throughout the United States and around the world. And we’re working on cancer’s full continuum - from diagnosis, to the myriad questions and answers associated with treatment, to the full ripeness of survivorship, to the end-of-life decisions that will leave a lasting legacy for so many families.

We have awarded over $90 million in funding through 1,457 grants and awards to 65 countries.

Through support of innovative work by promising young researchers, we are building a vital pipeline of talent that will carry our mission far into the future.

  • By supporting the work of seasoned investigators, we continue to fill a vast, ever-expanding reservoir of knowledge.
  • Through fellowships that bring international colleagues to the United States for clinical and research collaborations, we are building a worldwide network of cancer specialists
  • By collaborating with creative program partners, we are working to ensure that high-quality cancer care is accessible to all patients.
  • By funding the development of easily accessible publications, online resources, and live events, we are helping to bring up-to-the-minute information into patients’ homes, physicians’ offices, and other clinical settings

About: Education intro

Empowering through knowledge. After a cancer diagnosis, nothing is more frightening than the unknown. We’re working to ensure that patients and their doctors have the accurate, up-to-the-minute knowledge they need.

Conquer Cancer Foundation supports online education, journals and conferences that allow the latest in cancer advances to reach professionals directly where they practice.

The best cancer care starts with the best cancer information, and that’s why the Conquer Cancer Foundation supports Cancer.Net, the award-winning patient information website of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and ASCO’s comprehensive patient information program.

About: Quality intro

Quality of Care

Making state-of-the-art care par for the course – the quality of cancer care should never depend on who you are or where you live. The Conquer Cancer Foundation works to ensure that every patient, everywhere – from the biggest city, to the most remote town, to your town – receives state-of-the-art care.

Care for every patient will be better when we can learn from every patient - not only the handful who participate in research studies. This is why we support ASCO’s CancerLinQ™, a cutting-edge health IT platform that will harness “big data” to revolutionize how we care for people with cancer - improving quality and value for all. CancerLinQ will aggregate and analyze a massive web of real-world cancer care data in order to provide real-time quality feedback to providers, uncover patterns that can improve care and feed personalized insights to doctors.

It’s also why we support efforts to reduce disparities in access to cancer care and build a more diverse oncology workforce.
